"Finding the right wedding photographer is a major deal. We wanted to know that we would have a record of the day in beautiful pics, couldn't bear the idea of over-stylised, cheesey wedding cliches, and at the same time didn't quite trust pure reportage. On top of that, we knew that we'd have our photographer(s) with us all through the most emotional day of our lives, so we wanted them to be people we felt really comfortable with and who wouldn't impose their own vibe or make us feel uncomfortable in any way. I met with a few people and looked through endless websites. As soon as I saw the Adamo images I could tell that they had the perfect blend of formal and reportage, they seemed relaxed and 'real' but also stunning and unafraid to capture the traditional moments. We met up with Julian and Juliette and immediately both felt at ease and in the company of experts.
We were not disappointed. Juliette was an absolute star on the bridal morning - she was back-seat and relaxed with all of us, felt like one of the team and really helped me out in a moment of extreme nerves! Beyond the call of duty, full of warmth. They were both with us all day and kept up their lovely laid back vibe throughout. Doing all the group shots on the church steps was one of my favourite parts of the day! They went so fast and we were laughing all the way. Didn't get boring and no frozen grins.
Of course it's all down to the actual photos in the end - and they are just perfect. I was amazed at how they had managed to capture so many key moments - subtle things between us and family/friends that you wouldn't expect they'd have noticed. It's like having a really beautiful document of the day. It reminds me how I felt, as well as how everything looked.
Adamo are incredibly skilled photographers with that perfect blend of relaxed vibe and a clear eye for beauty and style. Whole heartedly recommended if you're creatively/visually fussy (like us!) but don't want to make a song and dance out of it."
